A Note to Our Valued Customers
Homestead Hyundai considers the health and safety of our employees and their families our priority.
Considering current world events regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to provide an update on Homestead Hyundai’s response to the situation inside our business.
As a company, our role and responsibilities are focused in two areas: the health and well-being of our employees and our customers. With that in mind, Homestead Hyundai is taking trusted guidance from the CDC, our internal health providers, and Florida’s health agencies.
While all our locations remain open and continue to operate with the same level of customer care and service, Homestead Hyundai has taken a series of precautionary steps to maintain a level of hygiene and cleanliness for our visiting customers and employees, including:
- Increased deep cleaning and sanitizing procedures across all major touch-points in our retail locations and offices.
- Continued education on correct hand washing and respiratory hygiene practices.
- Use of gloves by all automotive technicians and other affiliated service employees who encounter customer vehicles; wipe down of vehicles before and after service repairs, test drives, and movement of vehicles.
- Replacing handshakes with warm salutations and verbal greetings.
- Flexible leave protocol and mental health offerings which encourages any employees who are feeling unwell to stay home. This is supported by a flexible paid time off protocol, so employees do not need to feel like they need to choose between their health and their work.
In addition, Hyundai sales teams are ready and willing to bring our vehicles to you. Customers interested in test drives or working directly with a member of our sales staff from the comfort of their own home or workplace should contact a Homestead Hyundai representative to schedule an in-person appointment. As the world copes with the growing impact of this outbreak, we remain steadfast in the belief that people will uphold personal responsibility to prevent the spread of this virus through responsible hygiene practices and self-quarantining practices as needed.

Our team is following and exceeding the protocols recommended by the WHO and CDC to keep you safe, including regularly cleaning and sanitizing the lobby and common areas with approved disinfectants, as well as ramping up the frequency of sanitizing common touchpoints such as doors and counters. As always, our vehicles are deep-cleaned and sanitized inside and out, so you have the peace of mind the moment you sit behind the wheel for a test drive. During this time, we are open and prepared to serve you. At Your Service
Our service department is open and we have taken additional precautions to ensure your safety. If you have an appointment for service and would prefer to use the "after hours" key drop - this option is available to you anytime if you wish. Please be sure to include your contact information upon drop-off and a member of our staff will contact you regarding the service status of your vehicle. We also offer maintenance home pickup services, where we can pick your vehicle up and return it to you following the completion of service. We know that vehicle repairs or maintenance may not be at top of mind at this time, but if your vehicle is in need of service, you can conveniently schedule service below at a time that works for you from your phone, computer or tablet.
